XML API part of ForexConnect API?

Is the XML API at http://rates.fxcm.com/RatesXML3, which is mentioned in the API docs considered part of the ForexConnect API for the purposes of the competition?

  Hi Peter,

  Thanks for writing. Price updates in XML format are an add-on that you are welcome to include in your app, but they are not part of the ForexConnect API. For your app to be eligible for the competition it must utilize the Forex Connect API.
